One fateful day, a man with a wicked heart stole one of the jewels. With the set broken, the remaining jewels lost their luster and the seal was shattered. Thus, the demon Varalys—the most fearsome entity in mythology—was awakened. Varalys's dark sorcery scattered the jewels, and the peace of Fairyland collapsed. Princess Anne was transformed into three fairies and vanished. The demon Varalys unleashed monsters across the land, leaving the people ruled by fear and despair.
