This game is made by the popular manga cartoonist Ken Akamatsu! Probably even the fans from the past didn't know? The provoking voice saying ""Hahaha, I am a god. Everybody who opposes me will die. Are you able to rescue the princess?"" really spurred on the players from that time.
This Paladin was a project linked to the ""Yomigaeru PC-8801 Densetsu Eikyuu Hozonban"" ('eternal preservation issue of the resurrected PC-8801 legend') released by ASCII on 14 March. In the same magazine, anecdotes about the development of Paladin written by the developer, Mr. Akamatsu, can be found, as well as an interview in which he enthusiastically answers questions about the PC-8801. This is a recommended read not only fans, but also for creators.
